Jonas Galvez is a programmer, writer, philosopher and amateur scientist. He architects, develops and mantains web applications, of any size, using a variety of Open-Source tools and technologies, including Python, Ruby and Rails.
He works for an American start-up which puts most of its time into a project called Blogamundo, but has quite a fertile imagination, and is receptive to new ideas from smart, driven people. The quickest way to hear back from him is via e-mail at jonasgalvez@gmail.com.
Jonas is Brazilian, and lives in Brazil, but he's getting ready for a journey. He's 19 years old, self-educated since 14, an atheist since reading David Hume, a non-conservative libertarian, and a pain in the @$$ since the day he was born. He believes in Empirical Truth, but finds George Carlin's truth just as valid. He reads science fiction, has less than discerning taste in movies, listens to Ulrich Schnauss and Boards of Canada to sleep, is typing this on a Sony Vaio S470P and is invincible in Ridge Racer for the PSP.
Jonas mantains weblogs in English and Portuguese, where people are either enlightened or annoyed while he expresses his ego. Atom feeds are available for both blogs. He keeps track of everything he sees and reads in del.icio.us and Bloglines.
